These are some pictures in Medjugorje (in Bosnia and Herzegovina) - a (largely Catholic) shrine to the Virgin Mary.  There is a large church, with outside seating for thousands; and "Apparition Hill", with stations of the cross, and a statue of Mary, where she appeared to some local youngsters back in the 80's.
