This small (and brand new) church is in the middle of nowhere, up on a plateau south of Sarajevo.
It is called the Romani Church...so is it for the Roma?  The nearest settlement is Kalinovic, which I remember as being a village with (alpine-looking) cows roaming about the middle of the road...
...this was my alternative route back from Sarajevo to where I was staying in Mostar, and alternative route shown by Google Maps...but it got more and more "rural"...

...to get to the church, the road went over this bridge...I was petrified, particularly as I was driving a hire car...
In the end, the road got so scary (dirt not tarmac, single track, contouring and steep downwards slope) that I turned round and went all the way back to Sarajevo and went back the way I had come in the morning from Mostar.
