Travelling in August/September 2019
I am leaving on a fast train…to Glasgow and beyond! My second islands trip is planned for August and September, starting with Arran, and finishing up catching the ferry from Stornaway to Ullapool (so I can attempt Cape Wrath).
The intention is to walk (and ferry) the whole way – we will see how it goes..! I am not sure if I will try to post stuff on the way…possibly not, as I am also going a bit off-grid.
Jayne Kennedy has attempted to get in touch with her old college friend Alan Parker who lives on Mull and has asked for a contact, she thinks you may be interested to meet him. She will email with a reply if she gets one, he would probably be easy to contact if you ask around, pubs etc. as he is well-known on the island. Let us know if you see this.
